It shows that DPA can provide the liquidity and access to homeownership needed to push billions of otherwise lost dollars into the housing market and won’t cost taxpayers, Treasury or the U.S. government a thing. Language is already drafted through a bi-partisan bill and it has been vetted by the CBO.

I support HR 600 and have already sent a letter to my elected officials! The Reformed DPA bill, should it pass, will stimulate the housing market and create jobs...something America needs desperately! I think everyone should contact their elected officials and let them know how valuable the Reformed DPA bill would be to the recovery of the American economy!

I too support H.R. 600! Downpayment assistance programs have helped hundreds of thousands of homebuyers in the past, and can continue to help Americans in the future if our elected officials vote in support of this bill. At a time when the housing market is at such a low point, we need programs like this to stimulate our economy. And with no cost to the taxpayer, how can we not pass this legislation?
