DPAGroundSwell2 was launched to coincide with the
introduction of H.R. 600, FHA Seller-Financed Downpayment Reform Act of 2009,
by Representative Al Green (D-TX). H.R. 600 is the 2009 version of last year's
bill (H.R. 6694) that would restore seller-funded downpayment assistance
(DPA).
To pass H.R. 600, we need a groundswell of public support.
The time is now. Please act.
It's actually easy to participate! Go to the home page @ www.dpagroundswell.org, click "You Can Help," then click "Write Congress." The tool will help you construct an email that will then be sent to your elected officials.
If you believe in the value of a Reformed DPA bill, you should take advantage of the opportunity to use this handy tool. Even a working mom can use it and send a worthy email to elected officials!
