Housing professionals, you've seen firsthand the massive economic good that DPA can create. You also know the program and people involved better than any other group—it's time to reach out to your professional network as well as those you have helped into homes with DPA and involve them in our efforts to restore it. Consider inviting everyone to come together and visit your elected officials with you—make it fun and ask us for help.
Also, contact your Outreach Area Manager for more information on how to create a groundswell of support for H.R. 600 and DPA in your community.
I joined the group on Facebook, and I also joined the cause on facebook. Now I'm following DPAgroundswell on Twitter so I can be updated on the status of HR 600 daily.
These sites are a great way to promote the benefits of DPA reform to friends, family, co-workers and contacts.

I agree Peggy Sue! I've activated my network, joined the cause, and have recruited other members to join too! It was easy, just follow this link to the cause page http://tinyurl.com/dxojc8.

This is an important program and I have voiced my support to my elected officials. I hope others due the same as this country needs these program to spur the economy.

I see on the homepage of this website the number of people who were denied homes since October 30, 2008.
Other important numbers/data is the amount of people who are forced into foreclosure because no one can buy their house! I see people in my neighborhood who were regular working Americans, lost their job and have moved onto foreclosure as buyers are struggling with the down payment. Meanwhile, my equity is falling as a perfectly good and brand new condo down the street is selling for $40,000- $50,000 below the original asking price!
How can this bill wait? I'm calling everyone I know to help get it passed!
